Whole slide images(or virtual slides) are digital reconstructions of entire physical specimen in 2D or 3D. They are used for research purposes and for medical education. The digital format allows you to preserve tissue specimen for future use, especially fluorescent tissue that bleaches and fades.
You can easily view, analyze, and share specimens over the internet with Biolucida Cloud, Stereo Investigator, and Neurolucida. MBF has a suite of products for whole slide imaging, sharing, and analysis.

Stimulating retina tissue with light patterns is a method to examine an experimental hypothesis exploring retinal neurons’ reaction to light.
The Lucivid allows researchers to stimulate retinal specimens with computer generated graphics and patterns in color or black and white.

Using an optical step wedge or radioactivity standards, Densita quickly and efficiently calculates ROD (relative optical density), luminance, concentration, the area of your region of interest, ligand concentration, and the amount of radioactivity.
