Power on the BrightSLICE system

  1. Power on your BrightSLICE computer and launch BrightSLICE software.

  2. Power on the microscope-system components.

Warm up the system

Allow the BrightSLICE system to warm up for 40 minutes before using it in your work.

  1. In the Multichannel Control panel, click the button for any laser. The system will start scanning at the wavelength you selected.
  2. To conserve laser life, turn off emission for the laser selected in the previous step by clicking its Emission button in the ClearScope Laser panel (the laser emission-indicator ball will change from white to dark).
  3. Wait  minutes for the system temperature to equilibrate .
