Current plane

Purpose

Acquire a single-channel image using the camera's current field of view with the Current Plane command, located on the Acquire ribbon.

Procedure

1. Click Live Image on the Acquire ribbon.

   This puts BrightSLICE in Live-Image mode, meaning that the view from the microscope camera is displayed onscreen.

2. Click Current Plane; the following will happen:

   • BrightSLICE displays the image you've just acquired onscreen (Show Images mode).

   • The image you just acquired is added to the Image Organizer as an unsaved image.

3. To acquire another image, repeat the steps: Click Live Image, then click Current Plane.
