Insert arrow

Purpose

Place an arrow to point to specific structures. Use in conjunction with text for more detailed annotations.

Inserting an arrow

  1. Click Arrow on the Publish ribbon.
  2. Click in the Main window to place the arrow head.
  3. Drag the mouse to complete the arrow.

Editing an arrow

  1. Click Select Objects on the Publish ribbon.
  2. Click the arrow to select it.
  3. Right-click to access editing options:
  • Move selected arrow: Click then drag the arrow to a different location.

  • Rotate selected arrow: Click then drag to rotate the arrow.

  • Delete selected arrow: Click to delete the arrow.

  • Copy selected arrow: Copy the selected arrow to the clipboard.

  • Select everything this color: Click to select all objects that are the same color as the selected arrow.

  • Change arrow to color...: Click and choose a new color from the color picker.

  • Show only arrowhead: Click to display just the head of the arrow.

  • Exit selection tool: Click to exit object-selection mode.

Deleting text

  1. Click Select objects on the Publish ribbon.
  2. Click the arrow to select it.
  3. Press Delete on your keyboard.
