Mark centers

Purpose

Mark centers automatically places Marker 6 at:

  • The centroid (in X,Y and Z) of all closed contours.

    Or

  • The end point of all open contours.

Procedure

Place center marks

Click Mark centers in the Tools dropdown menu on the ribbon to automatically mark the centroid of all closed contours, or the end point of all open contours.

Delete center marks

  1. Click Select Objects on the Trace, Move, or Publish ribbon.

  2. Click a center marker to select it.

Shift-click, Ctrl-click, or drag a marquee with the mouse to select multiple markers.

  3. Press Delete on the keyboard or right-click and select Delete selected marker(s).

If Reveal Hidden Objects is turned on, the centroids or end points of hidden contours will be marked as well. Markers are not automatically associated with any section or attached to the contour they mark. This command works on all visible contours, not just the ones in the current section.
