Preferences: Vessels

Purpose

Use Vessels preferences to customize names and appearance for your vessels, as well as visibility characteristics.

Access Vessels preferences from File > Preferences > Tracing > Vessels.

Vessels

Color by: Choose a color scheme from the dropdown menu. Display the vessels in assigned colors, classification colors, or direction colors.

Display ending labels: Check the box to display text labels for vessel endings. The endings include: N = normal, I = incomplete, L = low, H= high, M = midpoint, O = origin, G = generated.

Placing and displaying ending labels can be useful when stitching vessels between sections (e.g., lows can be matched to highs).

Display nodes: check the box to display nodes as a small filled or open circle at the location of nodes (branch points) the same color as the vessel. If you can't see the node, increase its size under Node Size.

Node style: Choose a node style from the dropdown menu to display nodes as closed circles or open circles.

Node size: Enter a pixel value into the text box to adjust the display size of nodes.
