Adjusting image alignment

If the automatic alignment seems incorrect, you can adjust it using the Image Registration panel. |

Procedure
Click Registration in the tool ribbon to open the panel.
You can choose manual or refined alignment. Manual provides full control over the process, whereas Refined uses your input to improve the alignment.
Manual alignment
- Click Manual alignment.
- Click to place one marker at a landmark site in the left image then place a marker in the right image at the same landmark site; repeat for two additional landmark sites.
- Click Done.
- Review the results of the manual alignment: Click Check alignment, place a marker at a landmark site in the left image and verify that the marker is displayed at the same landmark site in the right image.
Refined alignment
- Click refined alignment.
- Click to place one marker at a landmark site in the left image then place a marker in the right image at the same landmark site; repeat for two additional landmark sites.
- Click Done.
- Review the results of the refined alignment: Click Check alignment, place a marker at a landmark site in the left image and verify that the marker is displayed at the same landmark site in the right image.
If you're not satisfied with the adjustments, you can return to the original alignment by clicking Automatic alignment.
