Train Workflow overview

The Train Workflow walks you through the process of training custom object detectors that can be used for automated detection and tracking. Its steps include identifying regions of interest and annotating object keypoints and connections used for the detector training. Once trained, the detector can be used on its own or alongside the existing worm tracking engine, to enable more complex or multi-species experiments.

Procedure

To train custom detectors, follow the steps of the workflow:

• Save Project: Saves the current project and settings. If you already saved the project, clicking this step saves the project file with any changes you have made. If you haven't saved the project previously, WormLab displays the Save Project dialog that requires you to name the project and indicate a storage location.
