Start Tracking

Purpose

These settings and controls are used to detect and track objects and, if desired, restrict tracking to specific frames and regions.

To use only custom object detectors without worm tracking, uncheck Enable Worm Tracking at the top of the Setup Worm Detection and Tracking panel.

Settings and controls

From frame ... to ...: Restricts tracking to the range defined.

Restrict tracking to labelled region: Check the box and select a pre-defined region label from the dropdown menu (see Label editor , About labels). Using this option results in faster tracking speed as only the labeled region is processed). A labeled region is useful to exclude an area within the field of view that would potentially occlude worms.

Start: Click to start/resume tracking.

Pause: Click to pause tracking.

Stop: Click to stop tracking.
