Export Videos / Images

Export a VIDEO

  1. Click Tools>Export Video. WormLab displays the Export Video Images dialog box .
  2. Change the start and end frame values, if desired.
  3. The video format is .avi.
  4. Click the Folder button to select the target folder for the video.
  5. Create a file prefix in the File prefix box. The file name will be the file prefix followed by a number.
  6. Click Export. WormLab starts playing the video and displays a green progress bar while exporting.

WormLab includes any displayed overlays (e.g., Worm Outline) when you export a video. If you want the worms without overlays, turn off Show Overlays in the Display dialog before exporting.

Export an IMAGE

  1. Click Tools>Export Images. WormLab displays the Export Video Images dialog box .
  2. To export several frames as individual images, adjust the number of frames accordingly in "From frame ... through ..."
  3. The default format is .png but you can also save as .jpg and .tif.
  4. Click the Folder button to select the target folder for the image(s).
  5. Create a file prefix in the File prefix box. The file name will be the file prefix followed by a number.
  6. Click Export. WormLab displays a green progress bar while exporting.
