Acquire Image

Acquire Image acquires a single channel image using the camera's current field of view.

Acquiring an image

1. Click Acquisition>Live Image.
2. Click Acquisition>Acquire Image.

After the image has been acquired:

• Stereo Investigator is no longer in Live Image mode; what you see on the screen is the acquired image.
• The image you just acquired is added to the Image Organizer as an unsaved image.
• If Background Correction is enabled, Background Correction will be applied to the image.

 

The coordinates of the image relative to the reference point are saved in the data file.

 

To acquire another image, repeat the steps:

1. Click Acquisition>Live Image.
2. Click Acquisition>Acquire Image.
