Select an image stack with embedded scaling that has been saved locally (i.e., not on a network).

If your image stack doesn't have any scaling, follow these steps:

  1. Load the image stack. This will open the Image Scaling window.
  2. Enter the Z scaling (distance between images).
  3. Click the Update image file button.
  4. In the Update Image File Scaling window, check Allow scaling to be written to image file and click OK.
  5. In the Image Scaling window, click OK.
  6. Save as a .jpx file (recommended) or use the original file format.
