Automatic object detection

Neurolucida software can automatically detect, outline, characterize, and/or mark objects (i.e., entities with distinct boundaries) in acquired images using the following tools found on the Pipelines ribbon:

• Batch pipeline

• Mark objects

• Detect cells

• Outline objects

• Outline sections

• Auto contour

These software tools can help speed up your work, however, they cannot replace the human eye. Once the process is completed, we recommend that you examine the results carefully.
