Reset

Click the reset button to return the image to its original orientation.

Pivot Point

To change the rotation axis, use the Pivot Point tool.

  1. Click Pivot point in the ribbon.
  2. Click a pivot point in the image.
  3. Drag to rotate relative to the new pivot point.

Hide tracing

Temporarily hide/unhide reconstructed objects with the Hide Tracing tool

  • Click the Hide Tracing button to hide all the tracings (trees and spines) in the viewports.
  • Click again to unhide tracings.

Remove Tracings

Use the Remove Tracings tool to permanently delete reconstructed objects

Note: this action cannot be undone.

  • Click the Remove Tracings button to delete all the tracings in the viewports.

  • Confirm that you want to delete tracings.

SnapShot

Grab a quick "photo" of what you see in the MicroDynamix window.

  1. Click the SnapShot button to save a .jpg file of the displayed images/data.
  2. A "Save As" window will open; type in a file name, navigate to your desired file-storage location, and click Save.

2D Rotation

Spin an image/image stack into a different orientation using the 2D rotation tool.

  1. Click the 2D rotation button in the toolbar.
  2. Drag the image/image stack to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
  3. Click the button again to disengage the tool.
