Tracing trees in the 3D environment

There are multiple tree-tracing modes in Neurolucida 360 software. They are listed here in order of increasing software assistance with the tracing process:

• Smart manual: User adjusts the cursor size to match the process thickness and traces its path; Neurolucida 360 assists with determining position in 3D.
• User-guided: Semi-automatic, Neurolucida 360 automatically detects the thickness of processes and their path between the previous click and the current cursor position.
• Automatic: Fully automatic, with configurable settings
