What's new?

WormLab 4.1

  • Save and re-use your tracking settings with the Configuration Manager.
  • Only track the worms currently displayed by adjusting the detection frequency.
  • Curvature map analysis: Length restriction has been removed.
  • Zooming system: Allows zooming centered at mouse position.
  • Multi-threaded tracking: The tracking algorithm is now fully multi-threaded and runs significantly faster.

WormLab 4.0

Acquisition and control

  • Added support for high-performance USB3 Vision cameras
  • Precise software control of illumination source
  • Stimulus track: Manual or automated I/O to correlate external events with the video acquisition

Batch processing

  • Let WormLab track multiple files unattended.
  • A simple process: Set up the parameters for the project files, add the projects to the project list, and start the tracking process.

Labels

Use labels to define areas of interest in XY and time intervals of interest:

  • Analyze data within labels.
  • Restrict detection and tracking to labels. This is useful to eliminate artifacts within the field of view or to decrease tracking time.
  • Obtain distance and speed measurements relative to a label (see chemotaxis analysis).
