What's new

Analyses

• New pirouette analysis, with number of pirouettes and pirouette time in Track Summary
• Track summary includes absolute peristaltic track length, centerpoint and peristaltic speed.
• New Position/Speed, Body Shape and Swimming statistics easy to export
• Additional parameters for label analysis and track summary (total forward distance/time, total reverse distance/time)
• Position analysis: Display all worm tracks using a common start position using Plot normalize track position option
• Export: Batch analysis and export capability (see Exporting multiple analyses section); multi-track export capability (see Multi-track section).

Display

• Added display all back-tracked frames option to Display window: when the option is NOT selected, back-tracking is faster.

Image adjustment

• New image segmentation mode (see Integral Derivative Segmentation section) for tracking semi-transparent worm images
• Automatic thresholding optimization via Auto-detect button (see Auto-Detect section)

Detection & tracking

• Label-restricted tracking: Improved processing speed, track inside or outside the label region.
