Networks analysis
Networks can generate a summary for all vessels, or only for selected vessels.
Vessels are defined as series of line segments used to trace the vessels.
The following metrics are reported:
Branching nodes
Total count
Endings
Total count
Total length
Total length of the line segments used to trace the vessels.
Total surface area/volume
Computed by modeling the pieces of the segments as frusta (i.e., truncated right circular cones).
Loop count
A loop is defined as a series of line segments that start and end at the same node, without repeating a node or segment that is already in its path.
