SRS image stack workflow — Step 3

Serial Section

• Select the desired section from the drop-down menu or by clicking Add new section.
• To edit the parameters of a specific section, select the section in the drop-down menu and click Edit section.

  Edit the information in the Modify section information window.

 

Trace your Region(s) of Interest on the Current Slide

1. Select the contour type for the ROI from the drop-down menu.
   • To change the color of the contour, use the color box on the right of the drop-down menu.
   • To change the contour name, use File>Preferences>Display Preferences>Contours.
2. Trace the contour around your ROI.

 

Tracing Options

Turn on AutoMove if your contour extends beyond the current field of view for a continuous, aligned tracing outside the displayed frame.

• Check Move the stage automatically when tracing outside the dashed boundary.

To turn on AutoMove, you can use Move>Tools>AutoMove. To define the size of the AutoMove box, use Move>Tools>AutoMove drop-down>Define AutoMove Area.

To change the method, right-click and select a different method.
