Create Sets panel (3D)

Use this functionality in the 3D environment to group traced structures into sets for later analysis in Neurolucida Explorer.

Item types

Select the type of object you want to include.
Use Select all to select all the traced objects corresponding to the types selected OR hold CTRL and click in the image to select objects individually.

Create set

Use this method to create a single set based on your selection.
If you have multiple objects, create a new set for each object (e.g., neuron or glial cell).

Create multiple cells automatically

This option is available for somas and other neuronal structures.

Before using this option, select structures under Item types.

Use this method to generate multiple sets based on the distance entered.

Maximum distance: Distance between tree endings and soma surface.

Created sets

Visible once you've created one set.

Use Disperse to ungroup the objects. This doesn't affect the traced objects.
