Joy Free

Purpose

In Joy Free mode, the link between the live camera feed and data you've traced, such as markers, contours, and structures is broken when you move the stage with the joystick. You can use Joy Free to realign the tracings if needed.

Note that enabling Joy Free mode, disables the tracing functions. To return to tracing, exit Joy Free.

Starting Joy Free

To start Joy Free, click the Joy Free button; it's located in both the Move and Trace ribbons.

Exiting Joy Free

To exit Joy Free, do one of the following:

  • Click the Joy Free button to deselect it.

  • Right-click in the main window and:

    • To disable the joystick, select End Joystick Mode.

    • To switch to Joy Track, select Switch To Joy Track.

When working with acquired image files, Move Image is the equivalent of Joy Free.
