Z scaling applied to images settings
Distance between images
Use the focal distance or the physical distance.
Focal Distance
Image stacks collected with the program are collected using spacings that describe the focal plane separation.
Physical Distance
Describes the physical movement of the microscope stage as images are collected.
If you select this option, you need to select the correction factor for the physical distance between the lens and the image. The program automatically enter this value for Air, Oil, and Water. If you select Other, you must manually enter the factor.
Update image file
Use this button to save the scaling information with the image file.
Note that scaling information will be saved with the data file, regardless of whether you choose to save it with the image file.
Image scaling is not embedded in the .tif files generated via slide scanning.
