ABSTRACT:
Stereo Investigator lets you automatically acquire a series of image stacks using Systematic Random Sampling (SRS) for offline, unbiased stereological analysis. The offline analysis can be done after acquisition on a computer running Stereo Investigator Workstation software. There are several advantages to using this technique:

   1. Fluorescent specimens can be quickly imaged and later analyzed, thus reducing the effect of photobleaching.
   2. The microscopy hardware is available for other uses during the offline analysis.

This webinar will demonstrate the use of the Acquire SRS Image Stack Workflow in Stereo Investigator. We will acquire a series of image stacks suitable for use in offline Optical Fractionator analysis. Users can expect to learn the basic techniques needed to acquire image stacks for offline analysis, as well as tips on how to optimize imaging and acquisition settings.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
You will learn how to use the Acquire SRS Image Stack Workflow to generate an image stack series suitable for offline, unbiased cell counting with Optical Fractionator.
