Practical Demonstration of Neuron Reconstruction with Neurolucida

ABSTRACT:
In this practical demonstration, Dr. Susan Hendricks uses Neurolucida 9 to demonstrate manual neuron reconstruction techniques on Golgi-stained tissue sections. Dr. Hendricks will show you how to apply the different methods Neurolucida 9 uses to display your data, including macro view, orthogonal view, and various display settings to improve your accuracy and efficiency. We’ll also look at using Neurolucida Explorer to export data and perform data analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
This presentation will demonstrate how to create a reconstruction of Golgi stained neurons using Neurolucida 9 and a Zeiss Axio Imager Z1 motorized microscope.
