MBF Wins 2009 "Best Places to Work" Award

For the second year in a row, MBF Bioscience has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Vermont, placing in the top five among the state’s “Medium-Sized Companies” (25-249 employees).

Best Companies Group created the award in 2006 to “identify and recognize organizations that are leading the way in defining the employee experience of the 21st century.”

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” says MBF Bioscience President Jack Glaser. “We strive to create an environment that fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation, and we recognize that our employees are the most important determinant of our success. Their confidence in MBF Bioscience translates into cutting-edge products for our customers.”

Nominated companies are evaluated on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and employee demographics. In addition, Best Companies Group conducts a survey of every employee, with the scores accounting for 70 percent of the total.

The Best Places to Work in Vermont award is presented by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Vermont Department of Labor, and the Vermont State Council, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.
