MBF Bioscience is a Best Places To Work Winner!

The employees already knew it, and now it is official. MBF Bioscience, the leader in providing the best solutions and service to biological researchers worldwide, is one of the Best Places to Work in Vermont for 2007 in the small/medium business category. The awards program, created in 2006, honors employers who strive to create better workplaces for their employees, which in turn benefits the state’s economy.

“We are very gratified to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work,” said Jack Glaser, President of MBF Bioscience. “At MBF we have a creative culture where employees work in a dynamic environment that values and rewards teamwork and innovation. Vermont is a wonderful place to live and work, and our employees are our most valuable asset. They are encouraged to continually improve our products and services, and seek the best solution for our customers.”

Nominated companies were evaluated on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and employee demographics. In addition, Best Companies Group conducted an employee survey, which accounts for 70 percent of the combined scores, to measure employee experience. The Best Places to Work in Vermont salutes leading employers who create an environment where employees enjoy coming to work. Identifying and recognizing these employers is a joint effort created by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont State Chamber, the Vermont Department of Labor, the Society for Human Resource Management-Vermont State Council, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, and Best Companies Group.
