- Systems and Solutions for Biological Research
MicroBrightField to MBF Bioscience
Why the name change?
MBF Bioscience has recently changed its name from MicroBrightField. We are the same people and ownership that you have been familiar with since Jack Glaser and his father, Edmund Glaser, started the company over 18 years ago. The difference is that our product and service offerings have broadened. Our solutions are still being used in hundreds of neuroscience labs worldwide, but are also increasingly used in diverse bioscience research labs in the fields of stem cell research, cancer research and a number of other bioscience research areas. As you may have noticed, MBF is very active in developing systems and solutions for confocal microscopy. We have supported widefield fluorescence, darkfield, EM, and confocal microscopy – in addition to brightfield – for years. We chose our new name to reflect this.
You can continue to expect the same high level of professional, personal service that you have enjoyed for years from MicroBrightField. You can also expect to see a broader range of products while we continue our dedication to solutions for neuroscience and more expansively, bioscience research.
