Systems Installation and Technical Support

Job Description

This person is responsible for installation of MBF computer microscopy systems at customer sites, as well as training customers in the use of the hardware and software components of the systems. You will need teaching skills and an understanding of scientific research questions. Adaptability to new situations necessary. You will also provide technical support and in-house training, testing of software in development, and assist developers in software design based on customer feedback. Travel is required for this position.

Job Requirements

Computer literacy
Comfort working with microscopes and other scientific equipment
Mechanical competency
Ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet
Excellent interpersonal skills
A college Biology background is a plus
Neurolucida or Stereo Investigator experience a big plus

Bachelor’s Degree
