Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

  • Web/Internet Presence (Ads, Website, Social Media, Links, SEO).
  • Website content management.
  • Product Demonstrations (video demos, YouTube).
  • Advertising & Event Sponsorships.
  • Press Releases.
  • Email & Direct Mail Marketing Campaigns.
  • Product Packaging & Graphics.
  • Tradeshow/Training course coordination.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience coordinating print and on-line advertising.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to write ad and web copy and press releases.
  • Understanding of electronic graphic formats and ability to coordinate projects with an outside creative agency.
  • Experience with web tracking tools such as Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with motivated colleagues in a dynamic team environment.

Education Requirements:

  • College degree in business and marketing.
  • At least two years relevant experience in product marketing.
  • MBA Preferred.

Sales Associate

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing logistical sales activities.
  • Consulting with clients to help custom design and configure complex, multi-component systems for neuroscience or stereology research.
  • Working with the Sales team to identify opportunities for new hardware and software offerings.
  • Managing communications with our international dealer network (Brazil, Mexico, Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, Korea, Turkey, Australia).
  • Understanding the products we integrate with and the ability to communicate with product vendors.
  • Working together with other sales professionals, neuroscientists, and software developers.
  • Following up on long-term sales cycles, able to prioritize responsibilities, update quote/product database and CRM system
  • Being an integral part of a winning team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree. Life science or biology degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Sales or Marketing.
  • Knowledge of microscopes and microscopy equipment is a plus. In addition, any life science or biology experience or background is a plus.
  • Experience with Stereo Investigator or Neurolucida software is a plus.
  • Excellent computer/software skills (Word, Excel Outlook), experience writing professional email communications to clients, experience working with a CRM.
  • Experience configuring technical integrated systems.
  • Desire to learn something new every day.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a willingness to do the research to find answers to complex questions.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Installation and Training Specialist

We are searching for a person who will be responsible for installation of MBF computer microscopy systems at customer sites, as well as training customers in the use of the hardware and software components of the systems. You will need teaching skills and an understanding of scientific research questions. Adaptability to new situations is necessary. You will also provide technical support and in-house training, testing of software in development, and assist developers in software design based on customer feedback. Travel is required for this position.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, concentration in Biology is a plus.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Comfort working with microscopes and other scientific equipment.
  • Mechanical competency.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Neurolucida or Stereo Investigator experience a big plus.
  • Documented US Citizenship or Permanent Residence.
  • Relocation to Williston, Vermont is required.
